Hey everybody, I'm getting closer to posting my full LED light conversion DIY with part numbers and specifications, but today I'm looking at a different lighting mod. After next week my engine will be in tip-top shape, so I'm starting to map out my HID Projector swap. I know all of you (I think you have at least) have seen the DIY for the TSX Low beam Projector Retrofit, but maybe not everybody wants to cut into their headlight housings. After looking at the dimensions and specs of a few different projectors, I've found two that might make this swap a (hell of a) lot easier. These two projectors:http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...products_id=61

Both have mounting rings, which slide through the hole in the back of the headlamps and mount there to hold the projector, then you would have to drill four small holes to mount L-shaped brackets to hold the front, and reinstall. However, I don't have the headlight housings I need to see if this would work, so I'm wondering if anybody has the dimensions (depth, width, height) of these headlights

If so, it'd help a lot in me deciding which projector to use. If anybody else has done it; GREAT! I'd love to see pictures and here which parts you used. When I get this retrofit completed, I'll post the parts you need, time to do it, difficulty, and instructions with pictures.
The dimensions I need are height, depth, and width of the inside of the housing, diameter of the hole at the back were the bulb wires go, and diameter of the opening in the housing where the lens pokes through (should be 2.5" or 3")
If anybody is interested, let me know and I'll do the DIY. If nobodies interested, I'll write up the DIY anyways. Either way, hope you guys like the idea. I'm also trying to look into the specifics of an HID Projector foglight retrofit, so if anybody has any info on that, I'd love to hear it!
P.S. these projectors are also about half the price of the TSX projectors used in the other DIY, not to mention these are bi-xenon, which means you would have HID high-beams also, and could use the stock high beams for something more fun, like flashing them at a party, or hooking them up with the fog lights, or painting them wacky colors. Who knows use your imagination.
