How to replace steering wheel on 1983 633csi

I purchased a nicely restored original 3 spoke steering wheel for my 1983 633csi. Is this something I could replace myself? Anyone have experience doing this replacement with some tips?

Pretty easy job. How are you with tools? (you did not say).Pop out the center roundel and you will see the (17mm, or possibly 21mm) nut that secures the wheel, and undo that. Wiggle the wheel until it lets loose of the shaft and remove. Really, that's about it.

Awesome, thanks! I'm good with tools. Sounds as easy as replacing the steering wheel on my old 1956 Porsche 356. Done that job several times. Thanks!
