Our i-spec '86 325 died about a week ago, and I can't get it to start again. It turns over freely, but it won't hit a lick. I replaced the coil and crank position sensor (CPS) less than a month ago, and that fixed the problem when it first happened. Like I said, though, it died again a week ago. The (new) coil measured out of spec, or so I thought, so I replaced it, and after some other messing around showed a weak spark to the plugs, I replaced the wires. Since I have no idea how old they are, that seemed to be a good idea anyway. I also replaced the spark pugs.
So, just to make it clear, I have replaced:
Coil (twice)
CPS
Spark plug wires (stock Beru wires)
Spark plugs (Autolite 64)
I can hear one of the fuel pumps for certain when I jump the terminals after removing the fuel pump relay. I have NOT yet checked fuel pressure.
Am I missing anything? :help
