ARP head studs.

My self and a local friend (bmw328M52 on bfc) have been arguing all day on the process to install. When I personally installed my head studs I used this method: Install head Drop studs in Used Allen key to run them down. Backed them out 1/8 turn from bottoming out. Took a artist brush and applied the supplied lube to top and bottom of the washers. Slid them on. Put the Lube on the side of the stud all around as best I could. (Had cams installed) Applied lube to bottom of the nut and pretty much smothered the threads. Torqued all the nuts to 35ft/lbs in sequence Torqued to 65 Torqued to 85. Next day checked torque to make sure 85. I've heard many different crazy ways of installing these studs. Obviously I went way overboard in the details of my process but that's exactly what I've done and I'm not FI yet but have had no issues at all. What is your guys preferred method of install?
