Picked up a 2000 M5 in Le Mans blue last month and bought it with a muffler delete and it sounds epic.. Nice and burbly low down, not offensively loud and not droning inside the car! Now I'm onto thinking about a decat, I've spent the last 2 hours scrolling forums and I've not had a straight answer yet or found anyone running a backboxes delete/front decat combo so that's where I hope you will help me! Has anyone done or know anyone that's decatted an M5 with a rear muffler delete and if so, does it totally ruin the noise or is it still bareable? I know that these cars are quite sensitive with the O2 sensors but I've heard that fitting O2 sensor spacers keeps the sensor far enough away from the flow to keep EML off and the ECU happy, ideas, opinions, pros, cons, fire at me with both barrels!
