Removing tape deck - will MID/radio/CD changer still work?

I'd like to remove the tape player entirely, would be a great spot to mount a hidden gauge + switches.



If I do so, will the MID/radio/trunk CD changer still function 100%?



If not, what do I have to do so everything will function normally?
