740i transmission problem when cold.

Dear friends,

I bought a BMW 740i, 2000, automatic transmission last month.

First night when i test the car, there was a new bump on the road and i touched it 100 km/h.

Next morning when it is cold the transmission not engaged.

I tried in D mode or manual but no answer.

I waited 15 minutes, it revealed Failsafe trans. mode and engaged to 5. gear.

I used car on 5th gear 20 minutes and stopped, turned off, lock the doors.

Again started the engine

The transmission was normal. No disengage, no bad sound, everything was normal.

If it is hot no problem.

But cold, I have to wait 15 minutes to appear trans. fail. and to engage 5th gear. after then drive 20 minutes to warm.

After warming stop, lock and restart for normal driving.

This condition is repeating every day.

I changed transmission oil and filter, but no changes about my problem.



What is your advice? (sorry for my bad English!)
