E36 M3 engine sound

I was wondering if someone could post a video of their stock and prestine car with the engine running. My parents seem to think my car sounds like junk (they already hate the fact I bought a Bimmer instead of a crappy 90s civic) and honestly to me it doesn't sound the way I imagined it should. I've already put in TONS of repairs and the only thing left is the leaking valve cover gasket. Unfortunately I do not know anyone with an E36 to compare the noise to, so I was just hoping one of you could help me out so I can see if my car really is a hopeless piece of crap or if I'm just being paranoid
