2001 Bmw m3 tail light short on left side

Hi, I was looking for a little help. I have a 2001 BMW m3 convertible and I have the Tail light ground short problem that is causing my dash to light up and say both tail lights are out. Also I am having a flashing headlights problem where my HID lights are flashing on/off very fast. I have searched and read this is a Short to ground problem and very common, the tail light ground makes the headlights flash.



I did find my tail light had a burnt up ground connector, and I also know there is a TSB for this. But when I took it to the dealer they said there was no TSB for this and would go ahead and charge me for it. Now I know dealers are not responsible to pay for TSB's but for the service advisor to say there was never a TSB for this problem I found it hard to believe. I found a link with the TSB info

What I need help with.....



- Is there a BMW site that list all the present and past BMW TSB?

- With this really being a safety problem do you think its possible I can get BMW to cover the TSB (20 fix). Especially since I give them 20k in business a year between all 3 of my cars?

- Has anyone else had this problem with the tail lights and the blinking head lights. Has fixing the tail light ground correct the head light flashing problem?
