Temp Sensor Location of a BMW M40B18 Engine ? (1991 E36)

Hi All,



Can someone tell me where is the Temp Sensor located in M40B18 engine of a 1991 E36 model? also for a failure of a temp sensor can it stops firing the plugs ?

Please help...
