Finally back into an M3/4/5!!

I’ve previously owned 2 e30 M3s, an e46 M3 and 2 other e36 M3/4/5 and the e36 has always been my favorite by far. So light and nimble, pound for pound the most fun you can buy! So after looking on and off for a few years, I finally found another one 10 miles from my house. The PO bought it 100% stock from the original owner at 70k and did all the mods to it. I picked it up with 235k on it with all the original parts included and documentations on every upgrade, maintenance, oil change, smog, alignment, etc, etc. Everything works as it should, cold ac, sunroof, all electronics. The dude was a fanatic in all the right ways! Besides all of the aftermarket mods, any typical e36 upgrade needed was done. All cooling, suspension, bushings, RTAB, etc…done.

At 210k, the motor blew a head gasket and the top end was completely rebuilt with new parts from Coast Motor Works in Huntington Beach. The M3 drives and looks more like it has only 100k!! Not a leak or squeak.

I did have to change the radiator out which I knew about, easy 45 min job. The front bumper has chips from all the miles and the rear bumper has a few parallel parking bumps. Minor sagging headliner, glove box and “puffy” door armrests. Other than that, not much else to do or upgrade. Maybe change to sport or race springs. I was initially looking at doing an s54 swap at the end of the year but this s52 is too strong to pull out for now.

MODS

-M50 intake manifold

-UUC billet underdrive pulleys

-TMS shorty headers

-Stromung exhaust

-UUC lightweight flywheel + E34 M5 clutch

-Conforti stage 1

-UUC Ultimate short shifter with dual shear selector rod

-H&R OE Sport springs

-Koni adjustable sport shocks

-UUC 'Sway Barbarian' swaybars

-TMS rear swaybar reinforcements welded on

-TMS RTAB limiters installed

I added a few pics of my other car too. The 2002 is a 73 with an s14 motor. For anyone curious, I paid 5500.00. This also include new front and rear Konis, and new tires.

E30 84 325e part out

New parts on it are distributor cap and rotor, new plug wires, plugs, water pump, trans mounts(stock), motor mounts(stock), cabs rtabs and subframe bushings(akg black poly), slave cylinder, air filter(about 20mi on it), complete ac system might be available(I have a parallel flow condenser and 2700+cfm fan with it) system is for r134a , I have a new drier to go with it too if buyer wants so all you have to do is hook up vacuum and fill. New oil filter in the box, new braided ecs brake lines(ran for maybe 200mi), newish hawk hp + pads(less than 500mi). New thermostat as well.

Old parts is everything else. Trans, motor, diff(2.93lsd), driveshaft, headlights, I replaced the ball joints in the control arms 2k mi ago, with lemforder parts. But the arms themselves are old. Let me know what you need.

Timing belt off, accidentally turned torque converter over by HAND, is it OKAY? HELP

This is my first thread, please point me in the right direction if I'm posting in the wrong place. Forgot timing chain was OFF, rolled engine over by (4) hands (buddy and me) kinda forcefully to try and get the 3 torque converter bolts off. When it STOPPED turning over, it dawned on me that something bad was happening... Do you guys think 4 hands from 138lb guys could bend valves? Our hands don't get that much grip so I'm hoping it'll be okay. Also, would we be able to see bent valves or valve problems with valve cover off?

BTW, everything was left at top dead center long before we rolled the engine by hand. Not sure if that makes a difference.

The purpose was to replace all the $140 in seals including front and rear because my M20 was leaking a quart per week. Also, any ideas on how to re-attach transmission to engine without mangling front trans seal?

This is my first engine pull :/
