***First of all, I acknowledge that I may be posting this on the wrong thread. However, please note that I am trying to reach out to the masses that weren't actively seeking to sell their e39. This is my attempt at 'nudging' you to CONSIDER selling me your car, when you weren't even thinking about it..!***



I can't believe I'm doing this again.



I've optimistically posted here in the past looking for a VERY specific e39, and ended up not finding 'THE' one (surprise surprise). It's sometimes a PITA in the fact that I'm so damn particular in what I want--I'll never be satisfied unless I get the PERFECT e39 that I had imagined for so, so many years (I'm sure some of you guys can relate??). A year or two went by, and I've since gotten married and have a baby now. The missus recommended (..forced?) me to switch to an SUV, so bought an '12 x5. We are sharing one car since she works from home, but as you could imagine it's not very practical to have a single car.



At times I think of buying any new modern fuel efficient car, but I KNOW that I will regret it if I went that route.



Now enough of the long sob story. Here's what I'm looking for (STRICT):

Passenger Seat Occupancy Sensor Problem

2008 4.8i with comfort seats



I'm having a problem with my passenger seat occupancy sensor. I get a passenger seatbelt warning, even when no one is sitting in the passenger seat.



First question....is this part of the occupancy sensor recall to replace the matt?



Second question, if it's not part of the recall, can someone help me with a part number for the sensor matt? I can't seem to find this on RealOEM.

Cold Air Intake?

Just wondering what a good, decently cheap cold air intake is that anyone on here has purchased? My car seems like it gets to a certain temp and goes into a limp mode... im going to have a buddy look into it, but im thinking the issues is the shitty CAI that the previous owner put on it and it's restricting air flow. So was just wondering what CAI's people on here have gotten, basically just to get the job done. Thanks!

key isnt working, locker is broken

Hi there.

Im talking about a bmw 316 from 2003.

The key button from both keys are not working for a long time. So we were using the keys manually.

Today the key locker from driver side (wich already had some difficulties to open) got completly broken. The key goes left and right but the lock button doesnt move. And this button is kind of lower than the other doors

So the only extra key locker is the one from the trunk. That one is working well. But how do i get in now?? Do i have to remove the back seats ?? Is there any extra keys locker on another door?
