So I saw the new 5d carbon fiber posted and I thought finally a carbon fiber vinyl that looked legit. I tried to stay away fromcf vinyl just because it looked so well... bad.



So I got a little roll and was impressed so far.

So decided might as well try on my rear diffuser as there is a small gash in the bumper anyways.







that turned out reaaaaally well,











The Diffuser itself was pretty impossible to wrap. So I decided to take it off and try over.







Re did the diffuser with 2 parts and was much better.







Overall I'm pretty happy with it, and up close it looks amazing.













Next step! Mateo diffuser and carbon wrap that!!

Hello, I have just begun shopping for a Z4 coupe. Couple things: where besides here is the most popular Z4 forum? Who does anyone happen to like for independent repair shops in metro Atlanta?

1995 318 convertible head gasket blown?

So this is for sale nearby, 140,000 miles and says interior is in great condition. Is the head gasket a hard repair? Is the head likely to be warped, and needing resurfacing? If I pay $1,000 for the car, am I just buying someone else's problem? It's an auto btw.

E38 reduced turning ability, grinding noises

Hi Guys. First post here;



I have a 1995 750IL in which i have just replaced front left and right ball joints upper and lower, ties rods and sway bars in the back yard. yes, it was difficult.



But now that it's done, and I've taken it for a test drive... the steering has been vastly reduced. I can turn about 70% left before the grinding noise starts and I then can't turn any further, on the right it is worse, about 50% of normal turning before it grinds and I cant turn any more.



I've tried adjusting the alignment of the wheels, but this doesnt seem to change anything. as far as i can tell, everything is in the right spot. I've googled this and checked across the forums but I cannot see what could be causing this.



Please, if anyone can help, let me know.



And if anyone ever wants to know how to get those filthy lower ball joints out when you've just broken an expensive ball joint removal tool on it, I can let you know how to do it with an engine crane, a dead blow hammer and some chain.

Question about halo wiring

Im wanting to hook up my halos to my interior floor lights so they fade on when I unlock my car. So itll be hooked up to that and my running lights. Now when I get in my car and then switch it over to my running lights, will that like send too much power through and possibly blow the leds in the halos?

Auto trunk close

Is the auto trunk closing (via button on trunk lid) a standard feature? I purchased a 2015 528i and I can pop the trunk open from the remote, but I have looked everywhere in that trunk for a close button with no luck finding it thinking it was a standard feature. If it is not a standard feature, does anybody know the price to have it installed? Or at least a place where the parts can be purchased? Thanks in advance! And happy holidays!
