135is (stock) vs GTI MK6 (chipped?)

On my way home and I see this white GTI approach me quickly, slows down to match speed. Here him downshift and get on it hard. I kind of laugh but figure why not. I drop it to 3rd and chase. As I'm about to get side by side I hear him get on the gas hard but it's no use. I pull easily and by the time I hit 110 he's few lengths behind me. I hit 5th but let off. Straight line win goes to BMW.

I'm so far ahead I think it's over so I shut it down and take my exit but to my surprise he's coming in the same direction. I check my rear view and I can sense the urgency as he's weaving in and out trying to catch up and close the gap. This exit is a nice upward sloping banked turn. I know the exit very well and take the outside knowing the inside left lane usually goes at a slower pace since most cars

collect there. I hit the paddles twice to downshift to 2nd and hold it as I approach the apex. He doesn't follow at first because he thinks the inside lane is better but it's not. The 2 lanes merge and the outside car always had the advantage because it spits out first. The distance between us only grows so he comes to the right to sneak in behind me but it's too late. I nail apex and power out in 3rd. The inside car forces him to tuck behind and I merge onto the freeway and I'm gone. Twisties goes to BMW.

As if 2 losses aren't enough I see him weaving in and out once again. I'm in 5th and downshift to 4th. Didn't want to waste any more gas at this point and this was the one time he actually got near my bumper which was say around 90. But once I was around 4500 rpm he faded away in my rear view. I shut it down at 125 and took my next exit as he continued straight. 2nd straight line goes to BMW.

My car is bone stock power wise, comes with PPK v2 from factory as part of the 'is' package. Only relevant mods were the Michelin PSS. I'm assuming he had a tune and exhaust. Also noticed like every other kid in a VW he drove with his hoody up despite windows down, it's like a hipster owner's rite to being fast, apathetic and furious.
