The other day i replaced a tail light bulb, and when i put the bulb back in i had not noticed the tail light had previously been blown out and the bulb socket connection was blown. When i put the socket in and tested the lights i tried the hazards to make sure they worked, i had only the hazard lights on and all four were working but after about ten seconds the lights started to flash very rapidly. Faster than when a blinker is out. They were flashing so fast that the lights could not keep up with themselves and they were switching on and off so fast that the blinkers did not even light up, i immediately turned the car off and unplugged the positive end of the battery. When i reconnected the positive end the hazards came on but the button was not pushed down in the on position. So i figured there was just a glitch and turned them off. When i unplugged the battery and plugged it back in the hazards came on again with the button in the off position. So i turned them off again and i checked the blinkers individually and i got nothing, no tick or lights. So i checked the fuses, for them and they were good but when i plugged the blinker fuse back in i got a spark and a flash from the blinkers. I then checked the headlights and tails to no avail. I then checked the fuses for them they were all good. I replaced them just to be safe. Got out my Bentley book to check it out and it told me to check the mustard relay under the steering column and i determined that it was blown. I will be replacing that when it gets delivered to me. I got me to thinking what other fuses/relays have i blown? I am going to be making custom LED tail lights, not exactly sure how im going to be doing that yet. But what damaged did i do to my electrical components?
Also i checked the LKM and all the connections seem to be fine.
