Recently I purchased a 1997 750 il V12 ,194k miles, white ext, beige int.... I knew it had some issues but wasn't sure what... I had the vehicle towed to my mech (specializes in European cars) and he is going to pressure test the motor today but just by looking in the oil fill area everything is coffee colored.... the dip stick wasn't when I looked... he said the head gasket is blown and that it would cost more to rebuild the motor than replace it with a used motor... but ive started looking at parts and that doesn't seem to be the case...
I saw a partial parts list in another thread but I would really like to have a complete list of parts needed for this job. if you have part No. that's cool but not needed at this time... I really like this car and would love to see it on the road again especially since so many of them out there seem to be dying off faster and faster... im mechanically inclined so if the price is too outrageous from my mechanic I might take it on myself and have a nice little winter project in my garage....
