Hello, I'm new to the forum. I have this extremely loud annoying squeaking belt sound. I've replaced the serpentine belt, idler tensioner, and pulleys. The loud squeaking sound comes from the alternator pulley area. The Bosch re-manufactured alternator is about 2 years old. When I spray a little water on the belt, the noise goes away for about 10 seconds. Again, the belt from Continental is new. Since the noise is around the alternator pulley, the only thing left to do is to play around with the alternator adjusting nut to make sure the belt is lined up? Any suggestions, thanks in advance!
