2008 535i with Dinan upgrade . every morning when the car is cold it idles very rough and when giving gas it sputters and hesitates.
This only lasts until the car is warm, then it runs normal. Although the car does not idle as smooth as it used to since this problem started.
The car has all new spark plugs and all maintenance up to date. My mechanic says that it is the direct fuel injectors and that one of them is misfiring. Options laid out by him: replace all injectors or wait for car sensor to pick it up and code so that he will know which one to replace. . My car has been running like this for four months and I am starting to wonder if there may be another issue?
