To buy or not to buy

all my bmw experience comes from e 23, e30 cars. Im a novice at these fancy e 39's



But nearby there is this immaculate grey 2002 w black leather, manual with 235K on it, i think it has a the sport package, small steering wheel, etc. recarro type seats, with insane amount of adjustables, etc. and just about every option you can get. Interior and exterior perfect.



all electrics work. Tires are marginal. Torque and HP surprised me. strut/ shocks / steering seem fine.



Issues: soot in the id of tail pipe pipe, maybe from crankcase vent valve ?, ( the PO used top synthetic and changed oil at the right intervals) . Ill probably do a oil pressure check as well.



ABS light is on: Module?



Starting out in 1st and second it feels like the pressure plate cant hold the torque and I feel it jittering/ stuttering a little until higher rpm. doesnt do it at high rpm or in 3rd or 4th. Is changing clutch and PP any big deal on this model or just normal ? What is the good clutch and PP for this car?



I think I can get it for $2200. :redspot
