Hey any one have ideas and/or instructions for finding a battery draw on my X5. I've noted that the orange shift indicator doesn't go out after 16 min. like I believe it is supposed to do, indicating the General Module is not going into sleep mode. I've removed all the fuses while watching the draw with an DVOM (Stays around 1.8amps) with no change, replaced the Battery, replaced the General Module, unplugged the Blower Control Module, Unplugged the Tape Deck Head Unit, and Unplugged the radio module in the back, all with now change in battery draw.
Also it may be useful to know that it was hit from the rear. It had hitch with a bike rack on it which took most of the force shoving the hitch up into the battery box although it didn't noticeably damage anything other than bending the body a little, which I've since bent back into place.
Any Ideas guys?
I'm thinking of starting a case with Identifix and having them walk me through the fix.
