Last summer i had overheating issues. I replaced the thermostat, and that fixed the problem, but while trouble shooting the issue I found the Aux fan was not working under any circumstance. I have:
checked the relays and they seem fine
jumped the fan switch and can hear relay for both connection off the brown ground, one click for low speed two for high
i replaced the fan as the old one had broken plastic
jumped the new fan and it does spin
tested the plug on the harness and i am not seeing any switched power while jumping the radiator fan switch ( there is one constant power line)
All this makes me feel like i need to tear apart the wire harness and look for something there, but that is so rare to have a break in the middle somewhere. Any advice on further diagnostics i could run to narrow this down a bit?
I have no AC since it failed last year. . .
Thank you for your thoughts
