Ok, a situation: I'm driving on a street in rush traffic today, and after getting over one of the bumps on the road I hear a loud SNAP/bang and a sound as if something (like a large stone) hit the underside of my car in the boot area. I thought I picked up something from the road so I kept on going. Car drove fine.
So I parked in the garage and went to work. But when I came back, I noticed something was off. Couldn't really pin point it so I got in and drove it home. When I got home I realized that the car was sitting about 1 to 2 inches LOWER in the back, both sides....
Did I just busted rear springs or could this be something else? What could make the car drop like that?
Its kinda dark to climb under right now, but any suggestions on what to look for tomorrow morning would be appreciated.
Thanks!
