ABS/DSC error wiring diferences

Need some help. Both abs and dsc lights are on. No errors in the computer. My wiring differs from every picture i see. They all show a large blue connector on the bottom (horizontal) of the brake module but mine is on the side (vertical). Mine only has 15 large pins. Want to test the wheel speed sensores at the connector.

Power steering pump whinning

my power steering pump is Sreamming any time i increase RPM's. I took the pully off and shot some WD-40 in the front of it, stopped for a day, now it is back again. pump still works great. Figure i will have to replace the pump. checking around, it seems e31's use a different pump then the 540 or 740 m60 engines. Not really sure what the difference is, as they both also use Pentosin. I have access to a 94 540 pump, does anyone know if that would fit a 840? Thanks

Power steering pump whinning

"check coolant level" ...high? I wasn't expecting that.

So, recently I have gotten the "check coolant level" message. I go look at the reservoir, open the cap (cold) and the level is well above the "kalt" line.



Possibly related, but not sure, the oil level is bordering on low on the dip stick (added 7 quarts on last change, close to 6k miles ago, so due for another change soon anyway).

I am also getting oil pressure light when at idle, but it did that right before last change as well, and went away after I changed it.



I don't think it is a head gasket because that would likely go in the opposite direction.

Could thermostat or water pump be failing? I haven't had overly warm temps when the engine warms up (usually sits a little over half way up the gauge and has since I bought it).



Ideas? Should I just do a coolant flush next oil change and see what happens?

MD Looking for E38 OE hood and front bumper

I need an OE front bumper and hood for a E38. Color and paint condition unimportant, but the parts must be damage free. No dents, dings, tears, cracks etc. I would really love to score a 750il hood as it is aluminum, but any E38 hood and front bumper will do. Preferably in the DELMARVA area, but may drive to PA or NC for the right parts. PM if you have something or know where I can find one.

What a sad day (OT Top Gear content)

So, while I was browsing around on the internet tonight, I have come across a sad discovery - FinalGear has been shut down. It was where you wanted to go when looking for anything Top Gear (at least for those of us not living in the UK), and they've been ordered to cease and desist, and now the main site is gone. So how the hell am I supposed to get my Top Gear fix when it comes back on air? Oh the humanity...

I had this car 1994 BMW740IL parked for 2 years. I have difficulty to locate the battery. Is it below the back seat? and how can I remove the back seat? I am appreciated very much for your help.
