Post-regulator replacement issues

I replaced the front passenger side regulator and motor on my '03 X5. But apparently I've done something wrong as I can no longer control that window from the driver's side switch panel. In addition, that window no longer has auto-up and auto-down when using the passenger side switch (you have to hold the button to get window to fully traverse). And finally, the 'DOOR OPEN' warning is showing in the dash display despite repeatable assurances that all doors are indeed closed.



So have I re-connected something incorrectly? Have I done something to a sensor of some sort? And is the auto-up and -down a function of the new aftermarket motor or likely related to the other items?
