This is a gorgeous 1987 BMW 535iS (Sport) that I am helping a friend sell. It is a somewhat rare 5 Speed Manual car. It comes with one of the best engines BMW ever built, the 6 - Cylinder M30 engine. The car is Royal Blue Metallic colour with an ///M Spoiler Air Dam in front an ///M-Tech Spoiler on the trunk lid as well.
The interior is deep Tan (Lama) mixed with Black like the dash, etc. The interior is in really great condition with no rips in the seats. It has fully working electrical adjustable sports seats, sunroof, electric windows and central locking (The driver's door quit working recently with the key). The interior is clean and the car has been owned for years by a non-smoker. Stereo works great as does the Air Conditioning and heating system.
The car has a 3.15 Limited Slip differential as well as Sport Suspension package from BMW. Did I mention it has a 5 Speed manual transmission as well? :D It is a nicely loaded car for it's vintage with a fully functioning On Board Computer system or OBC II as designated by Dingolfing.
The car has newer E38 style BBS Wheels on it - it does need new rubber on the rear tires. It has a free flow performance exhaust on it that gives it a very nice European growl. The car does get up and go as well. It is certainly no slouch.
These models are becoming classics and it is getting hard to find them in this condition. There are of course some signs of wear on it - it is not a new car anymore. There is some fading and peeling of the clea-rcoat, but this can be easily fixed from what I'm told. There are a couple of small dings here and there, but nothing major.
The car has been well kept, well maintained and was recently serviced. I will get the SMOG certificate done as well prior to final sale. I recently spent $1600 on installing a new clutch on the car so you can expect to enjoy many fun miles of driving. All the oils changes are up to date with only Castrol oil going into this engine.
The car hold a clean California title as well.
