1995 525i 185,000 miles.
Before I take it all apart, is there a way to know for sure whether the problem is the actuator or the electric lock unit? When I hit my fob to lock, it will lock all locks but then the drivers door lock will pop up. The rest remain locked. It also does this when I valet lock the trunk. It is inconsistent. The problem is only with the drivers lock.
I have had prior trunk wire issue and will check that. It all works when I use the key in the drivers door.
