Hey guys new to the forum and had a question. My mechanic is selling a 2011 BMW M3 sedan for $35,000. The car has ~45,000 miles on it but runs great, as he gave me a test drive. I was wondering if it would be a worthwhile purchase. I know how much maintenance costs on BMW's without warranty and the car will get about 12-13 MPG (I dont have to worry about gas as my company pays for it). He assured me M series cars are built better than the regulars and if i go in every 5000 miles for an oil change the car will not have any problems. I believe the car was probably salvaged or in a bad accident and he fixed it up. Would you guys recommend this car?
