I have a parasitic draw of a little over 3 amps on my e34. I have pulled every fuse and relay in the engine bay fuse box and the fuse box under the rear seat. I'm about to pull my hair out because I cannot find the source.
After much searching on the website, I also tried removing the cable to the alternator with no change. Foolishly, I only removed the main output but not the exciter field wire.
My next guess is to remove every fuse simultaneously in case there is a short and multiple circuits are damaged. I probably should also check the exciter feed to the alternator.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
