So I just bought a really nice 2001 740i sport but sadly the tires are completely shot and unsafe to drive on. My question is what tires can I fit. I've got the M parallels which I believe are 235-50-18 in the front and 255-45-18 in the rear. Can I put a 245 in the rear? Most of the shops around here don't carry in stock a 255-45-18 but a lot of them do have 245-45-18's on the shelf. Also how bad of a ride/performance penalty would I be taking by putting on a tire that isn't as wide as oe? Thanks guys!
