A friend hooked me up with some OEM M-Parallels from a 2000 740 Sport he picked up. Knew they were rough but they were dirt cheap and I need something to replace the 16" rims on the1999 750 I recently acquired. Three of the rims had paint peeling off, so I'm pretty sure the PO had them painted at some point. I managed to remove the paint and need advice on how I should proceed. The 4th rim is still in factory finish and there is a noticeable difference in appearance vs the other 3 rims. Need advice on how I should proceed.

Am I correct in assuming that there is no way of restoring the factory finish on these? If so, should I just use a product like aircraft paint stripper to remove the clear and paint them? Any recommendations on what paint I should use?
