Extended warranty cover valve seat repair

Looks like I will be joining the crowd and replacing the valve stem seals on my 06 4.8 X5.



Has anyone had any luck getting that covered on their extended warranty? The company is jerking me around saying that the fix is to replace the CVV diaphram. To me that is a band aid and not a fix.



Am I off base by telling them I want the problem fixed?
