X3 2005 Brake Pad warning light

Hi all,

I had wheels rotated on my X3 2005 3.0. Basically, moved the front wheels back and vice versa.



As soon as that was done, I got brake pad warning light came on. Is this likely to happen or just coincidental. Does the sensor have to be reset after wheel rotation?



Can the sensor be reset, if so how is that done?
