I recently ordered the UUC EVO3 SSK and DSSR for my 02 330CiC. As it turns out, the DSSR is backordered. Due to time constraints and not having any extra muscle to drop the exhaust, I'm having the SSK installed the day after it arrives. I expressed my concerns to Rob at UUC about not having the DSSR available when the car is having the SSK installed due to my mechanic telling me that he has to drop the exhaust, driveshaft and heat shield. Rob said that I could install the DSSR myself without removing the exhaust, driveshaft, or heat shield.
I currently don't have access to the car so I looked at some YouTube videos and read through some forum posts about the install and I can't really tell if those components need to be removed to install the DSSR.
If anyone has done or has direct knowledge of the install, I would appreciate and info that you have.
