My 2002 530i 5-Speed has developed a starting issue and i need the forum's help.
I have tested the battery and alternator (both are brand new within 2 months) and both tested good.
The problem is that sometimes the car has a No Crack/No start situation. I put the key in the ignition, start the car, and nothing happens. All the lights in the car work and power up, battery is charged, and the car will not crank.
sometimes it wont crank.... then i try to start it 2 more times and it will start. Sometimes it starts right away with no issues. Sometimes it could start 3-4 times and then i turn the car off and it wont crank.
What do you guys think the problem is? Do you think its an ignition switch problem?
