I've been trying to chase down a P1188 code problem and today replaced the hose from the oil seperator (PCV) to the intake tube on my 96 328i. I removed the throttle body from intake then put it all back together and now the car has a really fast idle. 1500-1800 rpm. occasionally it'll settle down to 1000 or so but it normally idles at 700-750. I've checked all the throttle and choke cables and nothing is binding. all vaccum lines are good and in place. not sure what to try next. any suggestions? thx!
