E30 MI S52 swapped '87 325e coupe

Throwing this out for sale, Winter time means the summer cars are in storage and gives me naughty thoughts about getting something else

If you're looking for a show winning car this isn't for you, the car has been used by a previous owner for drifting and then used by me for auto-x. it is however 99% rust free (small bubble on the sunroof otherwise clean)

Chassis:
1987 BMW 325e Coupe power windows and mirrors 5-speed.
I believe the color is cosmos blue
Rear trunk is tan due to rear end accident the PO suffered
Shaved Engine Bay

Engine:
1997 S52 motor with 175k miles
New Oil Pan, Oil Housing, Rear Main Seal gaskets
OBD1 wiring harness/ecu
M50 intake manifold
TRM Tune
3.5" 540i maf
bimmerworld intake elbow
OEM Fan Delete Nut
Cooler thermostat and coolant switch
Rallyroad.net wired oil pump nut
AEM dryflow air filter
OBD 1 exhaust manifolds
Thrush glasspack mufflers
Holley Billet 12700 fuel pump
Brand new crank sensor

Suspension:
Koni Yellows front/rear
Ground control converted front coilovers with eibach springs
Tein linear rate rear springs (don't recall the rates off hand)
Treehouse racing front control arm bushings
All other suspension bushings replaced with poly
e30tech adjustable rear subframe adjusters

Transmission:
aluminum diff/motor/trans mounts
G260 transmission
F1 Stage 3 clutch and Chromoly lightweight flywheel
Garagistic Transmission Cross Brace
UUC DSSR
3.73 ratio LSD with only 60k miles on it and recently changed redline fluid

Wheel/Brakes:
Klutch Republic SL1 wheels 15x8.5
225/50/15 Kumho AST's with 3k miles
Extended 75mm wheel stud conversion
10mm spacers front, 8mm spacers rear
EBC Drilled/slotted rotors
Hawk HPS Brake Pads
Stainless brake lines

Interior:
Recaro Pole Position fixed back racing seats drivers and passengers
NRG Harness Bar
5 point racing harnesses drivers and passengers
Deep dish steering wheel (I think its an ebay cheapy from the PO)
Carpet and back seat removed and carpet area truck bed lined

Extras:
Plastic Rear Bumper the headlight brackets and lights to add the high beams back in.

Niggling issues:
-Currently the gauge cluster is dead, it worked when the car first started running which leads me to believe I've been a victim of the e30 cluster death issue common to these cars.
-No e-brake, that didn't bother me for autocross but for daily use its a bother having to leave the car in gear constantly.
-Rebuilt title, the PO was rear ended (hence the non matching trunk) and the car was considered totaled, you can see the dent/damage the car sustained to the trunk tub and then of course the trunk lid

I'm asking $7000 OBO for the car as it currently sits

I am potentially interested in trading for an e36 m3 sedan preferred and must be a manual

I also have 275/35/15 hoosier a6's, euro s50 itb's, raceland heat wrapped headers and magnaflow mufflers which were destined for use on this car which could be negotiated into the purchase price of this car.

As I was playing with the grandkids on You Tube with their new iPads, after an hour of watching videos, they decided to take a break and I borrowed it to type in "BMW E31" in the search field and found this. I don't know if it was posted before in another thread but if it hasn't...here it is.

This is a UK dealership video from 1989 that I found fascinating and thought some of you might be interested in this. Enjoy!

Bimmerforums - The Ultimate BMW Forum - Powered by vBulletin

BMW of Bloomfield Join DateDec 2012LocationSan Diego, CaliforniaPosts124My Cars'97 M3, '12 SONATA 2.0T

1997 E36 Estoril Blue M3 Coupe with black interior.
Vader manual seats, heated
162K miles and counting (it's my DD).

Asking $7800 OBO.

I've been doing my best replacing the typical things that go wrong with these E36's over past year that I've owned it.
(149K at 12/19/2012 when I bought it).

All these below were done at 150K
-All 4 struts with OEM Sach, bump stops, dust shields and strut mounts.-Valve cover gasket
-Rotella T6 oil change with Mahle oil filter(Engine oil changed every 5k )
-Oil filter housing gasket
-VANOS oil feed line with crush washers
-Front sway bar links

-Royal purple Syncromax for Tranny.
-Redline 75w-90 gear oil for Diff.
-Mahle air filter
-Mahle fuel filter and new hoses with clamps
-Mahle cabin air filter
-NGK Laser Platinum Spark Plugs (replaced old bosch sparks with these)
-Driver's seat belt tensioner
-28% tint all all around.
- Euro clear tails and side markers and corners

Mileage: 156,XXX
-Calvin's SSK installed ( Installed by him)
- zhp shift knob installed
- tie end rods
- replaced bushings front and rear sway bars ( RD Sport sway bars front 27mm and rear is 24mm)
- replaced cats with aftermarket magna flow cats.
- exhaust hangers
- replaced power steering hoses, reservoir and did a flush.
- brake fluid flush
- replaced transmission mounts
- replaced with ground control rear sway bar end links
- evap expansion tank
- replaced my stock radio (leds were dead) to Kenwood kdc-x797
- exterior detail by balthazarr ( does amazing detailing )

Mileage:161500
-Replaced RTABs with limiters
-Replaced FCABS
-Replaced GUIBO and with new bolts
-Replaced Center Support Bearing
-Replaced Belts
-all done with the help of cabdolla (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?2040256-BMW-services/page2)

Mileage: 162070
- replaced fuel injectors with new ones from e30ultimate (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?1835372-rebuilt-injectors-blowout-prices-19-20-22-24-30-34-s/page8)

Misc stuff:
DJ auto headlights with 6000k
55W HIDs with angel eyes.
Lamin-x Yellow fog film
DDM tuning chrom gauge rings
Alpine Type S rear speakers ( OEM nokia died)
Racing Dynamics exhaust system

Cons:
-It has the typical door dings you'd expect for a 1997 DD.
- No spare ltw ring have only ds2 spare 17 7.5 rim in trunk.
-Seal for the rear vent windows are starting to crack
-seals for the exterior door handles are cracked
-drivers door tumbler is a hit or miss when opening the door so most of the time i open the door from the trunk lol
-LTW rims clear coat is peeling and has some curb rashes
-Cooling system will need to be done this is the last thing i never got to do. hopefully the next owner will be able to tackle it.
i have some parts for the overhaul that i will throw in with the sale.

i really hope i can find another owner here in San Diego or anywhere here in SOCAL that will take good care it. I had fun owning it for the year that i had it (12192012) and learned so much through DIYs on this forums. I bought the M3 out of impulse after i got back from deployment but time for me to get my priorities straight and life together and maybe ill get another e36 after a couple years but for now this M3 must go to a new home. :'(. If you'd like to come out and see my m3 or have any questions feel free to Pm me!

thanks in advance!

Here is my thread with everything about my car and pictures and when i did the maintenance:
