HELP PLEASE,
I have a 2000 BMW 330i AUTO, yesterday the engine started making a weird noise, then i realised my oil level gauge had failed and the oil was very low, so i filled it up that was that.
Also on the same day when the car was warmed up every so often i kept getting a loud noise at the back of the car lasting for a couple of seconds, then a minute later it happened again but not as loud.
The car did it again this morning once it was warmed up and it tends to be when i am just cruising along and not when i put my foot down.
The noise sounds like when you drive over the rumble strips at the edge of the road to make you aware you are near the edge if that makes sense.
I have checked all the tyre pressures and they are all good, have not got a clue what it is and whether or not it would be due to the fact the oil run low! PLEASE HELP!!!!
