I realize this is a longshot, but I thought I'd throw it out there just in case...
I recently received a small padded envelope addressed to me via USPS, and was a bit surprised as I was not expecting any deliveries. It was hand-addressed and stamped the old-fashioned way. Return address is in Orlando, FL, and is not one I recognize. Curiosity got the best of me, and I opened the package to find an interesting assortment of Z3-related items. One set of chrome cluster rings, two stylized blackout trunk emblem 3's (and no Z's), and a bunch of small stylized Z3 decals.
I do occasionally buy stuff off the forum and eBay, so my first thought is that maybe somebody mixed up their records and sent the order to the wrong recipient. Since it's not an Ebay/PayPal pre-printed label, it's probably not an auction mixup. Anyone recognize these parts? Are you waiting anxiously to rebadge your car as a "33"?
Maybe it's just that Santa Claus has finally tired of the North Pole and become a snowbird.
If you know someone in Orlando who sells Z3 trim doodads, PM me and I'll confirm the name. I'd be curious to contact them to see what's up. Barring that, I'll just return to sender and give USPS some extra business.
