New Tires/ Spacing for MCoupe

Trying to decide on a new tire setup for my roadstars and would like some input. Do I stick to stock tire sizes and get bigger spacers or upgrade and go slightly wider with smaller spacers? I’m currently on stock sized tires with a moderate drop and this whole tire/ spacing situation is bugging me. What I’m aiming for is a more flush look without sacrificing performance.

Here’s what I have in mind:

Option 1

  • Michelin Pilot Super Sport in stock sizes with 15mm spacers front and 20mm rear.

Option 2

  • Continental DW or Bridgestone RE760 (235/45/17 & 255/40/17) with 12mm spacers front and 18mm rear.

My driving style is fairly civil with occasional spirited driving. Treadwear, comfort, and quiteness rank high and all aforementioned tires seem to fit the bill. The michelin seem to be a crowd favorite around here, however I'm leaning towards option 2 as a small upgrade in performance and driving dynamics. Sure wish there was a better size selection with the michelins :(
