I also posted this under the M3 forum but no replies yet so I thought I would post here as well.
Need some help from the Pro's on the forum.
Long story short, I have an 01 LSB M3 with a little over 50k miles.
I took my car to local shop in hopes that the master mechanic could fix my issue with out having to take it to a dealer.
The temperature guage on the dash, for the past 7 years, after warming up sits directly in the middle between the red and blue, hot and cold indicators.
The past 2 months, the needle is between the 2 dots, but has been constantly leaning towards the blue.
My coolant light came on and I have had to add additional coolant once.
In the past, have never had to any anything, there is no leak. The shop installed a new thermostat, but it did not fix the issue...
Does anyone on here know what the root cause of the issue could be?
