I purchased a 2002 330ci a few weeks ago. The car has 110,000 miles and has pretty solid maintenance records. Since September of 2013 the car has a new fuel injector, sway bar, control arm bushings, hub, wheel bearing, fluid flushes, alternator, fuel pump, spark plugs, rotors & pads and a new control arm.
Anyway, I started my car this morning and noticed the SES light was on. The temperature on the dash was -4 degrees. The car was shaky while driving on the freeway for 30 miles (had to get to work), and had little power. In stop and go traffic, the car sputtered while moving in 1st. I got to work, shut the car off, started it and drove it for a few minutes. The SES light was still on but i seemed to have full power, no shakiness.
Any advice/thoughts on this???
