Hi Guys,
I am potentially buying a s52 race head with ferrea valve train and +1mm oversized valves as well as schrick cams from a friend. The work is literally brand new and spared no expense.
The only problem is that the assembler forgot to tighten down the vibration damper causing a piston to crack after 30 minutes on the rebuild! The combustion chamber of the head was not damaged, however, should I be worried about any adverse affects/damage to the head as a result of the engine not being vibration dampened?
Thanks,
Michon
