94 530I spark but no fuel?!

Hello fellow e34 owners I am new to this forum and am praying that all of you more experienced guys out there could help me solve my dilemma. I recently purchased a 1994 530I touring with the 3.0 v8. It sat for about six years plus but still ran and drove. I drove previous to purchase, then the day I went to purchase it, it would not start... that being said yes there was bad gas in the tank the filters needed changing and lines checked. Previous owner only put a fuel pump in few weeks before I purchased it because the bad gas made the original fail. He replaced the original and that one failed due to lack of cleaning tank and changing filters. I got a new pump and put it in after cleaning the tank thuroughly. The car started ran very poor for about two minutes and died I started it again then it died momentarily. Now it will not start at all but it will crank. I've checked to see if it has spark and sure enough it fires on starting fluid and runs just fine so now it's a fuel delivery issue....???? And I have no idea why seeing as all my fuses are good and new at that because it sat so long.. and my relays seem to be holding up just fine aswell as my fuseable links. I also have power to my pump... but it won't send fuel?? Can anyone please help me out and tell me what I'm dealing with here.. thanks my name is Tim.
