I'm considering adding a 6MT E46 to my garage in the not-too-distant future.
I read some of the stickies here and looked around. I'm trying to figure out what years/options/features to look for.
It looks like the earlier years (2001-2002?) have rod bearing issues, so I guess I'd avoid them.
Mileage doesn't scare me as long as the car is well maintained. Are there any mileage related issues I should look out for?
I'd be looking for Alpine White or Laguna Seca blue. I assume there's no issues with fading, etc with those colors.
In general, what common issues should I check for while shopping around?
