I will be starting putting my kit together over the next couple of weeks, I just would like some input from you guys as I have been "out the game" for a couple years
car is a 2000 323i e46 with a 97 m52 motor and trans converted to obd1 and ive been driving it for a couple weeks and it runs great. time for boost. I don't plan on doing the head gaskets/studs until it lets go. or maybe this winter. already ordered a turbo so now the party starts. bw s300 series
here are some things I am till trying to decide
1. 803 maf + rk tune ? or miller war set up ? I am hoping to run e85 and im shooting for 350hp/tq anything in the area would be great for now.
7. are all 803's the same and what are there limits
4. how much fuel pump am I going to need? fuel pump recommendations ?
2. what is the best size ebay or other intercooler for a e46 ? I was looking at HPF and aa m3 kits for ideas, they all seem to be on the small side, they look similar to the e46 Europe diesel models intercoolers minus the plastic end tanks. would one of these fit good in a us car? or would they not support the goals I have? intercooler fitting and plumbing is probably my least favorite part.
3. im not liking my options for top mount manifolds, anyone have a hook up on mild steel or stainless flanges?
5. whats the verdict on the ebay china top mount manifolds now that they have been out a while?
6. has anyone flipped a bottom mount china manifold and made an adapter ? I did this with a ebay cast manifold before, but they are big and heavy and I don't think they flow that great, still not sure what I will use though.
