Hi guys and gals... driving to work today the battery light came on when I was halfway there - ( 40km commute to work - my dd ).
Shut off lights/heat/music = pulled into a gas station and poked around - did a battery nap too - re-started and still lit up.. I turned around and drove the car home hoping all the way it wouldnt stall on me - it didnt - managed to get it home, borrowed the wifes car and got to work ... puzzled at what to do next..
yes there was a wierd whining noise that came and went at different parts of the way back home?... wondering whether its the battery or the alternator and how to trouble shoot?
dont want have time or money to throw at her right now... please advise.... thanks
