I heard a crunch in front, and after that the car pulls to the left.
I did the following:
Inspected suspension and steering elements.
With the car in the ground, I was able to move a ball joint on one of the tie rods and produce a clicking noise.
With the front lifted, I found more play in the tie rods, and the steering box bolt lose.
I have replaced center link, both tie rods, idler arm (Meyle). In addition, I have replaced both front shocks (billy HD; stick springs). Tightened the steering box.
Lower control arms look great, upper ones have a tiny play, but are still good.
The alignment was within specs.
Now, when I drive, the steering is tighter, I have more road feedback, but when I let go of the steering wheel, it pulls to the left (as in it will change lanes in a couple of seconds on the freeway).
Any thoughts?
