I have recently purchased a X5 E53 3.0i 2004 Sport and am starting to find faults with it.
Both the rear windows wont work from any of the switches. You can hear the switching contact but nothing happens. I've looked into other posts and they say its a common fault with the window regulator, BUT, is it the regulator mechanics thats commonly faulty or the regulator motor? I can get the regulator at half the price without the motor.
Also the parking sensors dont work. It makes a beep when I put into reverse and the button in car flashes green. Is there a procedure to test the parking sensors??
Advise would be much appreciated.
