Oil Leaks and more oil leaks

This is my first post and I must warn you I am mechanically challenged.

I noticed a small oil leak on my 2006 330 I. It only has 75,000 miles on it. I couldn't start the car one morning and had it towed to the dealership. They said it was the starter and replaced it. I mentioned the oil leak. They checked and replaced the oil filter housing gaskets. I drove a mile or so to my home and the the warning light comes on saying my oil is low. We added oil. I was ticked that they didn't check this at the dealership but it wasn't worth going back to complain. All seemed ok until we noticed oil on the garage floor several days later. Nothing big but enough to notice. Next thing I know I am out for a drive and the car is idling fast. I bring it into the dealership again. They replace 6 spark plugs and 6 ignition coils. They noted a misfire on #3 & #5 They tell me the eccentric shaft sensor is leaking and I need to reseal the oil pan.

Am I just having a run of bad luck or are any of these very expensive fixes related?
