Hey guys I have an idea bouncing around my head and I would love to know the feasibility of that. I know with enough work you can basically do whatever you want but let's keep this within the realm of a normal middle class worker budget.
I have a 320/6 so I have the 731 2l head and the carbureted intake manifold with the solex
My question is if I port and polish the 731 head and the intake manifold can I put that on the b27 and have a carbureted stroker. I know it isn't that simple but I'm just wondering if it's doable.
I could modify the intake manifold to accept a volley carb so I have room for the extra power.
Also any ideas if the 4 speed could handle that power or if it could even bolt to the b27?
Cooling for it would probably have to be at least the stock b27 setup.
Any input, conjecture or otherwise blasphemy is welcome, I won't be doing this build immediately but if its possible it will happen.

Carbureted M20b27 stroker?
